Sambbhav Khettarpal is a two-time SWA award-winning screenwriter—an accolade equivalent to the esteemed Emmy Awards—adjudicated by the top television professionals in the country. He won these awards in the Best Story and Best Screenplay categories for the legacy show "Wagle ki Duniya-Nayi Peedhi Naye Kisse," sharing the honor with his co-writer, Aditi Powar.
Sambbhav's screenwriting journey began at Disney Star, through an elite nationwide screenwriting talent hunt, where he received training on long-form television writing from Los Angeles-based screenwriting expert David Freeman. Known for writing on subjects unique to Indian television, especially those targeted at young adults and kids, his stories on topics such as "good touch bad touch" and "menstruation" have made waves on Twitter and received love across all age groups. Sambbhav is also seasoned sports writer and an author, having amassed over 3 million reads on his articles featured on platforms like Sportskeeda and ESPNcricinfo, and his book "I Too Had an MBA," a satire on business school life in India, has been among the top 25 books on Amazon.
